The history of Wat Phra That Chae Haeng
From historical record or the chronicles of Nan said that in the year 1353, king Kar Muang who was governor of Wo Ra Na Khon sent technicians to join the construction of the royal monastery in Sukhothai and then Phya Lue Thai donated 7 relics, Buddha amulet and Silver votive tablet 20 pieces each to king Kar Muang in return. He brought Buddha's relics to contain at Doi Phu Phiang Chae Haeng. This is called “Phra That Chae Haeng”. It is assumed to be about 600 years old.
